Description
Rust Bullet® Metal Blast™ is a cleaner and conditioner for metal surfaces. Metal Blast removes rust, grease, and other contaminates that will affect the bond of the coating to the surface.

Metal Blast’s etching quality creates an ideal anchor pattern allowing a superior bond to virtually all surfaces to be painted, including those exhibiting poor adhesive qualities.
Apply Metal Blast to bare metal by spray or dipping. Allow Metal Blast to remain on surface for 20 – 30 minutes or until
completely evaporated. This should be sufficient treatment to dissolve the rust and etch the metal.
Heavily rusted surfaces may require soaking the surface between 20 minutes and three hours. Soaking larger objects
may be achieved by saturating a cotton cloth or paper towel and laying it on the surface. Scuff the area with an abrasive
pad and rewet with Rust Bullet Metal Blast. Scuff the area again when all the rust is removed.
Small parts may be immersed in Metal Blast until clean. Lightly scuff problem areas with an abrasive scrub pad making
certain the surface is smooth and clean.
For best results Metal Blast should be rinsed from the surface with warm water or wiped with a clean cloth. The surface
must be allowed to thoroughly dry prior to the application of Rust Bullet Coatings or desired paint.
